Next, Harvey Cohen provided his perspective as a reviewer of LRP applications. Finally, recent LRP recipient Jason Flatt discussed his experience applying for the program.

The American Geriatrics Society (AGS), in partnership with the American Federation for Aging Research Clinician-Scientists Transdisciplinary Aging Research Coordinating Center (AFAR Clin-STAR CC) and the National Institute on Aging (NIA), is pleased to offer a three-part virtual workshop series. This is the third workshop in the series. Previous GEMSSTAR scholars provide viewers with strategies for using time efficiently with a mentor and tips on building a robust aging-focused mentorship team.

Part 1 of the Missing Data webinar series, Ounce of Prevention, Strategies to Prevent Missing Data in Primary Data Collection, was held on Tuesday, June 29 from 2-3pm ET with speakers Katy Araujo and Mary Geda.

Part 2 of the Missing Data webinar series, Pound of Cure: Understanding and Incorporating Missing Data into Biostatistical Analyses, was held on Tuesday, July 13 from 3-4pm ET with speaker Terrence E. Murphy.
This session was designed to:
- Recognize the two major types of missing data (MAR and MNAR)
- Understand the analytical need and strategy for multiple imputation
- Learn how to incorporate multiple imputation into statistical models

The American Geriatrics Society (AGS), in partnership with the American Federation for Aging Research Clinician-Scientists Transdisciplinary Aging Research Coordinating Center (AFAR Clin-STAR CC) and the National Institute on Aging (NIA), is pleased to offer a three-part virtual workshop series. Geared toward early career investigators and open to all who are interested in attending, this workshop will provide an overview of an NIH summary statement, tips on how to respond to common critiques, and real-life examples from two GEMSSTAR scholars on their approach to their summary statement which ultimately led to successfully receiving grant funding. There will be ample opportunity for Q&A at the end of the session.
